Business Cards
Print and Copy Services can take your information and print business cards for you and your staff using the approved format below.
Individuals and departments can request business cards by emailing Print & Copy Services at printandcopycenter@wwu.edu.
Print Letterhead
Western letterhead, envelopes, notepads and stationery can be ordered through the Print and Copy Center. The Microsoft Word templates are downloadable below.
These templates make use of our approved fonts. These fonts are licensed for open distribution, and can be downloaded on our typography page.
Building and Room Signage
If you need permanent signage for your department, contact Facilities Management. If you want to create temporary signage in your building, to be placed in hallways or outside offices/rooms, there are Canva templates available in the section below.
Email Letterhead
Western uses many different bulk email systems (Slate, Mail Chimp, Fire Engine Red, and others). The following is an example of a letterhead-styled email template first developed for use in Admissions, but it can be used by anyone who is sending bulk HTML emails.
The compiled HTML version has all the CSS inlined and the HTML has the HTML and CSS separate.
CollegeNET
CollegeNET has stricter rules on templates and what it HTML/CSS it accepts. A specific template has been created just for CollegeNET. Admissions and the Graduate School have tested it out.
Where Is Design Conductor?
WWU retired the Design Conductor template management system at the end of 2023.
We are transitioning to a set of new brand management solutions that will offer our community a more flexible, user-friendly experience and will no longer be creating new user accounts for the Design Conductor platform.
During this transition period, the University Marketing will be available to assist with any questions or concerns you may have. Email creative@wwu.edu with your questions, comments, and requests.
Canva Brand Templates
WWU now offers general branded templates in Canva for campus partners.
Canva is an online design and publishing tool that utilizes templates, allowing users without design experience or tools to build beautiful and customizable graphics, anywhere from digital slides, to printable, multi-page documents, and more.
Any campus partner can use the WWU-branded templates with either a free Canva account or your department's Canva Pro account. For those new to Canva, we recommend starting with Canva's Design School. This free online course will help users get started with basic knowledge of the tools within the program.
For assistance with Canva templates or to request a custom design, email the Creative Services team at creative@wwu.edu.
